901.4.1 Junior Exhibitor Excellence Award. Exhibitors under the age of 18 may apply yearly to the Executive Office for a Junior Exhibitor Excellence Award. To qualify, a Junior Exhibitor must exhibit in 4 shows a year and provide a letter of endorsement from a TICA Judge. To receive the award, the junior exhibitor must forward copies of the catalog cover pages and the pages that name the junior exhibitor as the owner or agent along with the endorsement letter to the Regional Director. The Regional Director shall forward the list of names to the Executive Office.

                                 TRAINEE/ASSISTANT RING CLERK.
              
You will work with an experienced head ring clerk who will guide you in learning the procedures
                necessary to keep accurate records for your ring and to make it run smoothly and quickly. 
               You will become familiar with the recognized breeds, the accepted colors and patterns for the
               various breeds, the recognized categories and divisions for each breed and TICA's scoring
               system. You will become familiar with the TICA Show Rules.

               _______Secure a copy of both the Current By-laws and Show rules for your notebook.
             
              The requirements are:
               _______a. Three favorable evaluations as a trainee from three different TICA judges and/or head ring  
                                 clerks filed with the Clerking Program Administrator within 12 months of applying
                                 to the program.

               _______b. Attend a TICA-Sanctioned Clerking School.

                                Head Ring Clerk exam if requested.
                                A $5 annual fee (furnished to the Executive Office , payable to TICA) is                          
                                
required to maintain certification at this level.
